How do you source your products?
Buying things online can be scary sometimes! So we want to reassure you about our products and how we obtain them.
We buy a combination of booster boxes, blister packs, collection boxes, tins, and elite trainer boxes! All of our products are guaranteed factory sealed and are assessed by our team of specialists with over 12 years of experience in Pokémon card collecting. The products are carefully unboxed by our team before/during stream and prepared by randomly mixing a combination of products within the same series of cards together. This will generate more randomness in the chances of pulling multiple "hits" within a series of pulls; in contrast to pulling directly from a booster box, where ratios of "hits" are predetermined.
Exceptions may include special products that do not offer a varying selection of packaging (e.g. booster box exclusive products).
Please note-- you are not guaranteed "hits" in any of the products you purchase and acknowledge that you are purchasing a product with risk and odds associated.
How do you package for shipping?
We understand that your cards are precious! We have a designated team to specialize in packaging your cards properly with the appropriate standard for shipping collectible trading cards.
Our process includes:
Encasing your rare and holographic cards which are deemed to have monetary value based on market prices and within reason with Ultra Pro® Penny Sleeves.
Protecting your most valuable cards with Ultra Pro® Penny Sleeves and encasing them in Ultra Pro® 35pt Toploaders (appropriate for Pokémon trading cards).
All cards will then be packed together in a resealable cellophane bag and attached between two larger cuts of cardboard to prevent any shifting or damages which may occur during the shipping process. Your bulk cards (cards deemed to have little to no monetary value), if applicable to your order, will be used to further protect your valuable cards by creating a sandwich around your valuable cards within each cellophane bag provided.
All bags will be carefully packed within a bubble mailer or box and any loose space will be tightened to the best of our abilities. Extra bubble wrap may be used depending on the amount of empty space within a shipping box at no extra expense to the buyer.
Rest assured that your cards will be taken care of before the shipping process and any risks/damages will be mitigated on our end.
When do you ship our cards?
We ship orders out every shipping date. Shipping dates are defined as the first and third Mondays of each month and are subject to change upon unexpected circumstances or change of conditions. Once you have successfully purchased the appropriate shipping method and we validate that the shipping costs have been properly covered, we will process, package, and deliver your cards to our shipping carrier within 24 hours of the next immediate shipping date.
Exceptions include-- if the buyer has purchased the express shipping method. In this case, we will package, process, and deliver your cards to our shipping carrier within the next 24 - 48 hours upon successful receipt of payment-- subject to delays upon unexpected circumstances or change of conditions.
If payment for shipping has not been received or intention of shipping has not been made aware of from the buyer, Pika Team will hold your cards for up to a maximum of 180 days (approximately 6 months) out of courtesy. When the 180 day expiration date approaches, we will attempt to reach out multiple times via communication channel provided (e.g. Twitch, e-mail, phone number) to remind you to complete the shipping process. Any cards held beyond this date will have their possession forfeited from the buyer and possession will be given to Pika Team. Pika Team reserves the right to take any appropriate action with the cards which may include, but not limited to, returning your cards, selling your cards, and distributing your cards.
